In Her Travels, Lise Loves To Photograph Her Experiences. This Trip To Cuba Sparked A Story Emerging As A Bodywork She Would Like To Paint And Share. The Picturesque Scenic Beauty And Impressiveness Of The People, Including The Agony They Suffered By The Embargo Sanction.

She Painted This Person Because She Felt He Captured The Essence Of The Story She Discovered In Her Journey In Cuba Havana. She Wanted To Photograph The Person Behind Him, For He Looked Mysterious. She Thought He Would Make An Interesting Subject. But This Person Interjected Himself In Front Of My Camera, Making Ugly Faces As The Story Goes… I Thought It Would Make An Interesting Painting.
